What We Do

We raise funds through our listed bond on the Euronext which is then invested on legally secured assets within the property & commercial sectors within the UK offering strong risk adjusted returns to investors.

All lending is secured on UK property or commercail assets by a legal charge (1st or 2nd charge) up to 80% of the development / asset value.

The value of the underlying security for debt investments may go up or down, and investors should ensure they understand any security arrangements which may be in place before entering into such investments.

In addition to the legal charge, personal and / or corporate guarantees are often obtained from borrowers.

Alpha Secured Investments carries out rigorous due diligence on all potential borrowers to protect investors.

We offer bonds to investors that have the option to receive Growth or Income. All our Bonds are IFISA eligible (including ISA transfers).

Lending Market

Demand for UK short-term lending in the property market has grown from around 0.9 billion in Sept 2012 to an estimated £4.3 billion in June 2017 and with £20bn of new commercial asset finance to SME’s in 2019 it demonstrates the market remains buoyant. 

Historically, this demand was met primarily by traditional banks supported by alternative lenders. Many traditional banks have tightened their underwriting requirements for short-term lending and are focused on building capital reserves.

Housing Shortage

It is estimated the UK needs to build 340,000 new homes per annum until 2031 to meet the current housing shortage. The Government is attempting to encourage developers to build more homes by improving the planning process and introducing incentives such as the Help to Buy scheme.
